This jacket is bullet proof. Well, not really, but it really does block out the elements be it wind or water. With a very light, skin tight base, and a short sleeve jersey under it, I have been able to ride in the 30 without any problems. The pocket is placed great, can actually hear my mobile ring. I really like the thumb tabs, they keep the sleeves down, especially for someone with long arms such as myself.
The quality of construction is top notch as are the materials. Well worth the money.

This is the first winter jacket I have purchased and really like it. In the past I had used multiple layers but it was hard to strip down the layers and carry it all. With the jacket I have done 60 mile rides with temperatures starting at 27f. As the temperatures warmed to the low 40s I was able to partially in zip the jacket and regulate my body temperature easily.
This is a jacket that starts being to warm around 45 degrees. I have worn it down to 25f with just a thin base layer and jersey. I was plenty warm.
I am 6’2" and 175 lbs. A large fits similar to a club fit jersey and the sleeves are perfect length.

Went out on a road ride in 40 degrees with this jacket on. Only wore a thermal under armor underneath. Breathed well and kept me plenty warm. Love it!
Dont love that Pearl Izumi sleeves are always seem about 3 inches too long...
