I am a large but the XXL works best for me without being too big. Great jacket that blocks the wind and lets you sweat. The front zipper pocket is a great place for the cell phone in a baggie.
Watch out for the Gore jackets that have removable/zippered arms. The opening for your arms is too small and cuts into the arm pits.

Well designed jacket! Have used for a year now,Temps. as low as freezing,Cuts the wind from top to bottom,You can control warmth by 1 or 2 thermal layers underneath .Semi snug fit ,soft shell fabric eliminates wind noise,and flapping. Mp3/ phone chest pocket is perfect. Has withstood many washings ,even the white.(I prefer to hand wash). Highly Recommend .
